Directions

1 Find the finger tab on the top of your Lexmark printer. Pull gently on the finger tab to open the printer include.

2 Look into the exposed printer components to locate the printer cartridge. Know the printer cartridge in its handle also pull delicately to remove it. Discard the empty printer cartridge or recycle it if facilities exist in your region. Send the cartridge back to Lexmark to be recycled, if preferred.

3 Remove the replacement Lexmark ink cartridge out of its packaging. Peel away the little pieces about tape located by the end of the printer ink cartridge.

4 Shake the Lexmark ink cartridge gently to ensure that the ink is evenly distributed.

5 Hold the replacement ink cartridge over the ink cartridge compartment in your Lexmark printer. Line up the color labels on the ink cartridge through the matching labels on the printer.

6 Understand the ink cartridge by way of its take and tilt it slightly, consequently you can manual it into the ink cartridge compartment. Utilize light downward pressure on the ink cartridge until you hear it click into place.

7 Replace the printer protect on your Lexmark printer. Press gently on the printer cover to lock it inside place.

Suggestions & Cautions

Extend the existence of your Lexmark ink cartridges by removing, shaking and reinserting them whilst the "Low Toner" or "Low Ink" light appears on the printer's manage panel. This will permit you to print a few further pages. Do not attempt to refill empty Lexmark printer ink cartridges. Execute not install third-party-manufactured ink cartridges in your Lexmark printer. Only Lexmark brand ink cartridges are designed to be employed by way of Lexmark printers.
