The Nintendo DSi is the third version of the Nintendo DS handheld system to be released. This version of the system is able to download Nintendo DS games from the online DSi Shop. The games must be purchased using Nintendo Points before as downloaded. Nintendo Points are purchased through the system using a credit card. Any prepaid Nintendo Points card also can be applied. 1 Turn on the Nintendo DSi method. The main menu will show up on the touch screen.

2 Press the DSi Shop icon with the stylus to open it. The icon remains a blue shopping bag. The DSi Store principal menu will wide open.

3 Press “Add Nintendo DSi Points” using the stylus. Two obtain choices will be available.

4 Press either “Acquire Nintendo Points with a Credit Card” or “Redeem Nintendo Points Card,” depending on which payment option you want to use.

5 Fill in the prompts on the screen to add Nintendo Points to your system’s account. Fill with your credit card data and the cost of points to purchase whenever using a credit card. Fill in the code on the back of the Nintendo Points card if you use that payment option. With either circumstance, the Nintendo Points will be additional to your account. These steps are required to download Nintendo DS games away from the DSi Shop. Return to the DSi Store major menu.

8 Press the “Download” button.

You must make use of a Nintendo DSi to download games from the DSi Shop. Previous versions of the Nintendo DS system are not compatible for this support.
